Or, there is the risk of mental illness occuring later in life?

Our children spend a lot of time at school. For us as parents, it is important to know something about the school’s content and procedures, especially regarding issues that affect well-being and learning.

School and parents work for the same cause; kids should learn, and that they should have a safe, nurturing environment in school. Parental contribution to this is so important that the Ministry of Education has tmentioned it as one of four points for a good learning environment. These points are based on what the research shows is important::

  • Classroom Management
  • Pupil Relations
  • Home-school collaboration
  • Organization and leadership

Although parents are not present at school, so they have an important impact on children’s everyday life through cooperation with schools and as role models. Research shows that the quality of relationships and interactions in the home is important, whether it’s dealing with emotions, love and care. The course The 5 languages og Appreciation in Class, creates good relationship and sa feeling of safety in the class, which then again improves the relationship amongst students, as well as the teacher and students. It also provides tools to create a better home environment by parents receiving test results showing what YOUR child wants and needs most from the adults at home. Filling up your teen’ or child’s «lovetank», by using their most important appreciation language will enhance the experience of safety, happiness and love both at school and at home.
